IntendED is a learning system informed by research that combines research-based elements of how children learn best with the educator practice and engagement that is vital to a child’s understanding. Creating intentional learning opportunities in a play-based environment, the educators at Trust Early Learners imbed skills and content into engaging activities throughout the day that support a child’s learning and development in literacy, math, science, the arts, executive functioning, social competency and more. 

IntendED and the methods that it focuses on were developed over time and founded in experiences teaching diverse groups of young children and attending to the adult learner. IntendED is a comprehensive learning system that continues to advance to serve young children at the start of their formal school experience to achieve the best academic and social outcomes for each child.
